With my multicultural background and global experience, I specialise in making complex ideas simple and accessible. Whether translating technical insights into compelling stories or crafting authentic, community-driven campaigns, I’m driven by the opportunity to spark meaningful change and solve real-world problems - all while making it as fun as possible...

Who Am I?

I am a scientist gone rogue.

I combine a foundation in neuroscience with a passion for creative communication. While studying Physiological Sciences at the University of Bristol, I explored memory, behaviour, and pain—culminating in an award-winning animation on the neuroscience of love.


My curiosity led me to a Master’s in Science Communication during the height of the misinformation crisis during the COVID-19. I developed creative communication strategies to address how inequity and inequality in science fuelled distrust in scientific institutions and health systems.

In my previous role as a Communications Officer at the UK Medical Research Council, I translated complex scientific research into impactful, audience-focused narratives, collaborating with media, community groups, and academia.

 

My strength lies in crafting strategies that connect ideas with people, making me an asset in bridging creativity and strategy for meaningful campaigns.

I love to learn about people across the globe.

I’m a certified people person with a deep appreciation for different ways of thinking. Growing up immersed in English and Mexican cultures sparked my curiosity for the world, leading me to learn French and recently begin studying Mandarin.

A recent travel break took me across Southeast Asia, Switzerland, and Mexico. This adventure was invaluable in shaping my values and enriching my ability to adapt to different communication styles. My global experiences have deepened my commitment to ethical consumption — I firmly believe the true cost of products should never come at the expense of others, no matter how far away.

I thrive on building meaningful connections and working with brands that inspire their audiences while shaping the best future possible for business, people and planet.

I am unreasonably obsessed with an Owl Brand and an Oat Brand...  

During my break, I realised why I’m obsessed with brands like Oatly and Duolingo.

You’ve probably laugh-cried at Duolingo’s TikToks or admired Oatly’s uncensored, witty packaging. But beyond the humour, these brands are true game-changers. Duolingo reshaped social media with its unapologetically human brand voice, while Oatly made plant-based milk mainstream through bold rebranding and playful packaging, winning over climate-conscious Gen Z audiences.

These brands set the gold standard for building genuine connections and fostering community. By offering meaningful yet playful solutions to real-world problems, they’ve achieved phenomenal business success. Ever since, I’ve been passionate about brand purpose and creative communication strategy, and I’m eager to continue evolving my expertise in this space.

What comes to mind when you hear ‘sustainability’? Climate change? Plastic waste? Maybe some cute pandas that need saving?

I love creating things that no one has ever made before. My experiences in research, academia, and London have shown me that the future is always on its way, and what we can achieve is limitless!

 

Sustainability will drive innovation for the next 40 years as we strive to meet the 2030 Paris Agreement Goals and the United Nation's 2050 Net Zero Goals.

 

With the explosion of AI and the growing demand for sustainable solutions, we are set to transform business — and we can be on the front line!
